No matter how slow you're going...

... you're still lapping those lazing on a couch.:)

Bravo. Can we please start a campaign to eliminate:

1. The abuse of the apostrophe;
2. Spelling lose as "loose";
3. People writing per say or persay instead of per se, especially in contexts which make it clear they don't know what it means;
4. Spelling pedaling as peddling, and brakes as breaks.

The common and constant misuse of "road" and "rode" on BF bugs me.

I think public grammar corrections on online forums are self indulgent and petty. If you are bothered by someone's grammar you could send them a pm. If you can't understand what they are trying to communicate ask them to clarify. Or, start a separate thread and generally talk about grammatical errors without picking on a particular person. For example, as mentioned here many of us carelessly mix up road and rode. It is jarring. I've done it too and have gone back and corrected my post if I notice the error. I am sure sometimes I do not. But BFD.

I wanted to say something because I know someone on BFs who now posts a lot less often because of criticisms of his grammar and usage.

Do a search for bicycle couch images and you will find many.

Incarceration for those who write "I could care less."

Loose does drive me batsh*t crazy though, especially when people who get paid more than I do at work use it. I'm more relaxed about forum-speak though.
