You beat me to this deal. I knew the bikes would show up here eventually. I want to congratulate you but I'm so jealous :)

Also, welcome to the forum. If you need any local help let me know, I have gotten a lot of help here in the forums.

For Paramounts the serial numbers are the key to identity and are different than normal Schwinn numbers. My 1974 P-10 has a serial number of A74149 which means it is a January 1974 with the frame being the 149th built that month. Earlier bikes used a different system. Roger

donk730 03-04-12 06:49 PM

the chrome is a 72 and the white is a 73 !

I am going to be sick  I see atleast one pair of Monoplanor style brakes, 2 sets of NR calipers, a racing reiple RD and the frames...

A chrome frame with red lettering and.....

just to complete the picture there was quite a bit more campy stuff and 2 brooks saddles and different bar wraps and bits. I am feeling very blessed today. Also been a long time lurker of this board and appreciate the wealth of info it has supplied me!

Unbelievable score! Congratulations.

Well last time I checked we lived in America and practice capitalism. Since the frames are not my size I will sell them along, college is expensive and I need to purchase and engagement ring. Yes i certainly feel blessed to have the opportunity to make some money! Anyway don't want to start off on the wrong foot here and offend anyone, just felt the need to explain why I don't feel bad for buying low and selling high, its the american way.

A good percentage of us here do the same thing. It is amazing how many of us are watching CL looking for the super deals. You scored big time. Congrats.

No problem here. Terrific score, you decided to sell them, even if they fit, nothing wrong with that. You saw the opportunity, you went for it, and now you will make some $$.

Ain't no laws prohibiting us from tweaking you about it :D

jjhabbs 03-04-12 09:06 PM

Hey. did you measure those? are you sure that they are 58 c to top.

smoothness 03-04-12 09:12 PM

Going to be a hater, and say that this dude wasn't a lurker. Did ten minutes of google search, found BF, decides to play the role. Best of luck with your sale.
