Congrats to him!

That's some awesome news! I was lucky to recover one of the four bikes stolen from me through the years, so I know how good it feels to welcome one back home :)

Not mine. I’m just sharing the story. Bike owner is the owner of a LBS I’ve done business with for a long time.
My son has had several stolen, none recovered. Me too but not for a long time. |

This is really great news. That thread just bummed me out amid all of the other silly goings on in the world lately...

Good to know. I grew up there (South Pasadena, actually) and I have a couple friends in the bike shop community.

Great news!!!
It's funny how bike thieves often try to sell stolen bikes to another bike shop down the road. Like they don't know each other... |
Great news! Thanks for informing us!

Awesome and best news of the entire World today! 🚲💨💃💃💃

"It was recovered by the owner of Steve’s Bikes in Altadena". yeah a funny shop, that one, but he's a great guy! :thumb:
Glad to hear this all worked out to a happy ending and thanks for sharing it! |
Fantastic news.

What I find amazing in my area, is indeed all of the shop owners know each other. It's actually quite a fraternity. I've never heard another owner say a bad word about another. I've even heard customers bad mouthing one shop while in another. They never chime in or feed the bad blood. Nor do they verbally compete against another. It's actually refreshing.

Thank goodness! A priceless treasure for the owner deserves to be in the right place. I know I'm far away in CO, but having a recurring CL Cinelli alert, was keeping an eye out just in case.

Thanks for sharing the good news, this makes me so happy

In celebration (not trying to derail your thread here)
.
...I now feel safe in posting a photo of my own very similar, (but much less custom equipped,) bicycle. :) https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...39bbc105d2.jpg |
.
...also, in looking at his setup, he appears to be much more flexible than am I. :( |
