Carrera vendetta limited edition plus
 

Hi, I have a carrera vendetta limited edition plus 27.5 that I brought as just a frame with bb and front mech (anchored by the bb) I've brought the correct chain set for it but the front mech doesn't come across far enough to engage the largest chain wheel and it looks like if it did it would be to low then and foul on the teeth(there seems to be no way of raising it up like regular seat post clamp type) I'm running out of ideas?

Could you post the exact part numbers of the crank and FD? It sounds like they may not, actually, be compatible.

The front mech is a Shimano FD-M410E, the chain set is a shimano FC-TY501(I've tried the correct suntour on it but it sits further away), the bb is a 100 x 154.5 square taper
