Rumors about Peter
I’m hearing rumors that Peter Sagan might be retiring after the Giro next year.
Has anyone heard anything? |
When I watched the video from his fan Q&A at his Gran Fondo last month, it didn't sound like he was planning to. Then again he could have changed.

He said he wanted to ride the Giro before retiring.
He didn't say that the Giro would be his last race. Reporters are f'in morons. |

I believe the "feeling" is he may either retire or cut back after a full schedule next year. He said he wanted to do the Giro before retiring, and next year was a good time to do it.
So, read into that whatever you will. :foo: I wonder if he will do the TDF? |
The Amgen Tour of California was perfect for Sagan, in terms of weather, attitude, skillset and California style of reportage. I actually think he is "bummed out" (as they say) that TOC is off the calendar for a year (or perhaps more.)
I have no idea how this affects his outlook towards retirement, but this has got to be an upcoming season he is not as excited about. If they were having TOC, I'm not sure he would ride the Giro, it is not exactly his cup of tea, more of a "Bike Racer Bucket List" type of thing. |
Cali is over rated
but a hell of a lot nicer than Europe. Libs out there should just get the taxpayers to sponsor the event and keep it going |

just quit offering free sh&t |
ain't that easy. it's the bleeping weather. earthquakes, mudslides and firestorms be damned. one of the main reasons the toc sprang up in the first place.

That's the type of reasoning I'd expect to hear from a person from a backwardwanker state! It's like them piss poor redstate welfare hillbillies. Yeah. |
So even on here I have to read CA bashing.

hmm for a state that has gone from world's 7th largest economy some 20 years ago to currently world's 5th largest is imploding onto itself?

So a no-news thread about a guy that can foresee the end of his career has devolved into stupid political bull****, neat.
|
^by the op, yet. can’t even consider the thread hijacked, more like a delayed steal.
