Colnago Super - Yellow Accent

vancouver.craigslist.org/van/bik/d/vancouver-colnago-super-early-80s/7305484163.html

Hi. I was wondering how much a bike like this would be worth? I'm also unsure of what parts this bike has...
Thanks

https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...305484163.html seems reasonable but offer $1200.US. are the components original? any frame rust internally-dents? can only appreciate if no defects.

BEAUTIFUL BIKE !!!!

Ask for a pic of the Bottom Bracket to make sure the " ace of clubs" logo is cut out

IF all original 1500-1600 all day long.

If it was here where I live I would buy it !!!!!

Way too overpriced for a repaint (with iffy decal placement) and that weird mix of parts. Look closer - that's not a 1k+ bike.

Hard pass for this guy.

I thought it MIGHT be a repaint, but was not sure. the eyes are not what they once were :)

Good pick up DD !!

ok, I’m coming up blank on how you figured this was a repaint—I do see its in too good a shape all over for that vintage, but that little rust-line on the head-tube threw me back into a “...maybe?” Please enlighten!

If you can afford to do so, do not waste any more time. Get the bike. I certainly would.

The plus on this bike is the panto bits , they are nice. As far as $$worth , DD may be right . It gets down to how much you like it and the way it feels when you are on it. It is hard to find one with decent paint for under 1200 with the panto stuff this has.

I think Jeff is seeing what I see too. The paint is too good to be original and it clearly is a "restoration" but not with period correct parts. The RD looks like a Victory or 980, not to familiar with either, with the shifters being the same. Brakes are also much newer than the frame. The flat crown in combination with the under BB cable routing is a possibility but I have not seen that very often.

Does it look good? Yes but those things mentioned and the poor cable routing of the brake cables is an indication of ... well less than genuine attempt with a focus on selling high. Way too much.
