Is that a regular bike or a folding bike? If a regular bike, what size bike and what kind of case? I do a fair amount of traveling but haven't sprung for a bike case because of the airline fees.
Thanks Paul |
The Bikeflights effect? I'll still ship where practical. Save the trouble of lugging the bike to and from the airport.

And of course if it is international travel shipping ahead can be very expensive. But I am convinced the best way is to go by train. Once I retire and have more time, I doubt I will fly anymore. |
Looks like you get 126 inches. I am glad to see American is stepping up thier game.

Shipping with beats flying with any day. The other good thing about shipping ahead is you know the bike is there before you get there. Not so certain the same if you fly with it. And the chances of it not getting there increase with connections. The only problem is you don't have a ride out of the airport.

Pity because I used to love flying, and American was my favorite airline. But since airlines adopted their militant structure, I've opted to spend my hard-earned dollars on a less Nazi-like mode of transportation. The best way to oppose any systems is through the one universal method they all understand -- money. |

Bad news is the train schedule sucks in and out of Spokane. |
