FS: silver Sugino SS/fixed crankset, 165mm

Up for sale is a Sugino crankset with 165mm arms and a 48-tooth ring. While this was originally intended to be used with two rings, the shorter arms and relatively low-profile make it excellent for fixed-gear or single-speed use. I've done some polishing and cleaning, but a bit more would really make it shine. Tapers are threads are all excellent. Ring teeth show very little wear. Brand new chain ring bolts. Includes dust caps. SOLD!

Nice price on some Sugino RDs, one of my favorite single speed and fixed gear cranks. Good luck with the sale, wish I had a current need for them.

@nlerner what BB spindle length did you run with these?

edit: just realized this ring is way bigger than I need, but maybe this question will be helpful for someone else.

It was attached to a 103mm cartridge BB. Thanks.

Ring is for a 3/32 not 1/8 FG/SS chain, correct?

Well, it’s not a problem to run a 1/8 chain on a 3/32 ring; you just can’t do the opposite, but I’ll confirm it’s a 3/32 ring in a sec.

Correct but Im most interested in the 1/8 for the extra strength for SS/FG chain and drive train. If it was setup as a dual ring then I would expect 3/32, not sure if dual 1/8 ring setups exist ?

Confirmed: 3/32" chainring, compatible with 1/8" or 3/32" chains. Perfect to run that 1x drivetrain you've been hankering for!

Too late. I wanted it for a double.
