Show us your Peugeot PX10 !
The PX10 is a bike truly deserving of its iconic status. For many years it was the top-of-the-line offering from a great French company - a fast, nimble, Tour de France winning and exceedingly beautiful bike that can still set our hearts a pitter-pattering to this very day.
I know that some of you have acquired one, and the rest are still looking (-especially all those who purport to abjure all that is French, but secretly lust after them!) If you are one of the fortunate’s who already "got yours", please do us all a favor and post a pic here, along with the presumed date of manufacture. - And for those of you who have not yet happened upon your very own PX10, take heart. One day your PX10 will arrive, for there were enough of them shipped to this side of the pond. :) http://www.jimlangley.net/spin/peugeot.jpg |
A nice original '72:
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-F...0/DSC01544.jpg A '70 with custom paint, some extra brazeons and Campy derailleurs: https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-N...0/DSC01520.jpg |
I could post my '72 UO8 twice. Would that do? The cost would've been about right.

Of course you know, 3alarmer, that having 3 of them is against the law (-even if your name begins with a "3"). :innocent:

This was quite the POC when I purchased it, so I fixed it up as shown here, but I still couldn't sell it on CL. (Now I don't want to.)
