Would you give up biking for a billion dollars?

I wouldn't tell my wife if the offer came down the pike, but I don't think I would.

Addendum:I mean cycling. Pedaling and propelling oneself. Without pedaling, you don't go. Ebikes and stationary would also fall in the category. No creative loopholes. You can do any other activities with your 10 digits.

A billion! With a 'b?' ... let me think for a second....Yes.

Fahrenheit531 02-23-21 11:18 AM

Yes. And I'd never look back.

Troul 02-23-21 11:19 AM

nah. i like the karens yelling at me as I pass by on the bicycle path.

tyrion 02-23-21 11:20 AM

With a billion dollars, I could pay someone to do my biking for me.

79pmooney 02-23-21 11:21 AM

No.

caloso 02-23-21 11:23 AM

I'd need more specifics. Are we talking about cash up front?

base2 02-23-21 11:24 AM

Like the other (b)million dollar questions, the response usually relates to how much therapy &/or mouthwash a (b)million dollars could buy. :innocent:

For a billion dollars I could buy an awful lotta running shoes.

Troul 02-23-21 11:32 AM

i'd give up on e-bikes.

burnthesheep 02-23-21 11:35 AM

I'd just take up something like rowing. I already run a minor minor bit..............so yeah. I would.

I think to make this topic more interesting you'd need to greatly reduce the amount of money. Probably all the way down to $100,000. That would make it really tough for me.

Wouldn't do it for $100k.

Me neither.

jadocs 02-23-21 11:42 AM

Hell yeah...I'd take up sailing.

70sSanO 02-23-21 11:46 AM

How soon do I get the money? Once I get the money, I figure I can go back to cycling and set aside a portion for my legal defense to tie things up till I check out for good.

freeranger 02-23-21 12:03 PM

yes

phughes 02-23-21 12:04 PM

Yes, a billion dollars would help pay for a good attorney who can find a loophole.

Koyote 02-23-21 12:19 PM

Pointless question.

Clyde1820 02-23-21 12:22 PM

Would you give up biking for a billion dollars?
Sure. And then I'd just find some other suitable activities to fill the void. Win/win.

indyfabz 02-23-21 12:27 PM

Assuming the money up front as a lump sum cash payment, yes.

Once I got paid I would turn to the dark side and ride a trike.

P.S.: This thread is screaming for a poll.

tomato coupe 02-23-21 12:29 PM

Why? I didn't give up cycling after my first billion.

AlmostTrick 02-23-21 12:30 PM

No, but maybe for a trillion.
