1974 World Voyager Dropout Screws
The rear dropouts have the screws that go in from the rear to adjust the hub location. They have lost their heads, and I am not sure if nutting them up would give enough purchase to twist them out. any ideas?

They should screw out from the axle side with a small flat blade screw driver. If the thumb nuts were on that side and are missing they were installed backwards sometime in the bikes life. If that is true they should just screw out from the back side. Roger

I've never been able to figure out what the outside knurled nuts do on those dropout adjusters. If you try to spin them by hand, they just unthread from the screw anyway. I guess if you Loctite them onto the screw, you can then turn them by hand.
