E-Bike Battery case keys lost

Well, somewhere today during my ride the key to my Dolphin cased bike battery was lost. I have contacted the dealer with no luck and don't see anything on line. I would even replace the lock if I had to. Does anyone here have contacts or experience with lost batty keys and found replacemets? I know the key number and on plastic fob part only shows "Reention" on it.

TIA

Can you give us a make and model?

I imagine it's a cheap lock and can be easily picked. There are a million youtube videos about picking locks, look for one about tool chest locks

My first thought as well. Once you have it picked you can remove the battery, open the case, remove the locking pin assembly, and then take it to a locksmith for a new key.

You can go to any locksmith, ask them to pick it and they will make a copy. Only pros can do this

No, $10.95 for two keys.

The quality and pricing for lock service varies greatly. A man I used to go to for good service at a fair price no longer worked at his namesake business. While the son who now owned the store was competent I thought his prices were outrageous.

I have another shop handle key problems. they are awesome and will pick a lock for me for free most of the time, but I also have them do other normal stuff so they can make money.

You always get 2 keys. You are saying you didn't keep one key at home somewhere... but you went out riding with both keys and lost both of them.
