Since everyone's talking about sweating, I rode 3:15, drank 3 x 24 oz bottles (4.7 lbs) and weighed 4 lbs less afterwards. So that's over a gallon of sweat, about an average temp of 80 degrees and 45% RH. I hear you sweat less when you get older. So far, at 62, it ain't happening.

Beef, of course, is never served with any other flavoring.

(worth noting at this point that 3 of us specifically said we like chicken simply seasoned and cooked)

I never said that, but beef on its own is delicious. Chicken? It's like eating beige.

You sound like you're coming at this from the boneless, skinless chicken breast perspective. If so, you're comparing the best(ish) beef cuts vs worst chicken cuts. Not exactly fair (there are a lot of ****ty beef cuts). But yeah, boneless, skinless breast is the leanest and needs the most help if you're going to have it solo.
Whole roasted chicken? Awesome, even with just S&P. For that matter, skin-on chicken breast is still good, cooked skin-side down in the skillet and then flipped and finished in the oven. Deglazing the pan is extra awesomeness. |

Pfffft. If whole roasted chicken were beige, would Costco's business plan hinge on selling it?

Rotisserie chicken/beer can chicken or even grilled marinated boneless skinless chicken breast is delicious in my opinion. I enjoy a steak as well. I also support the vegetarian diet as well - lowers demand and I save in the end. Win-win! |

Bearing replacement.
Short stride and SUBs don't have that problem. |

Is there anything to tighten on a Shimano SPD-SL pedal, other than the cleat release thing? One of mine feels loose/may be making noise.
https://si.shimano.com/pdfs/dm/DM-RAPD001-01-ENG.pdf Slightly more difficult than wrapping bar tape. |
A quality chicken cut into parts and thrown on the grill is pretty damn good, IMO. Especially the dark meat.
Now take some ground chicken or ground turkey patties with no seasoning, put 'em on the grill and you will die from lack of flavour. Of course ultra lean ground beef treated the same is almost as bad sometimes. |
In other Elliptigo news, they still don't have those gigantic SUB pedals for sale :(

If they're new, stripped pedal thread. Usually involves installing a new crank arm. One guy kept breaking spokes.

I could steal his third place easily but as far as I know, there is no prize money involved so I'm going to mow the lawn instead of going out for another 10 miles. When I told my wife there was no point in going back out, she said, "Yeah, it would just make you second loser instead of third loser." :D
