Northwave Fahrenheit Gore Tex GTX Road Cycking Shoes

Good morning Everyone,

I am considering purchasing a pair of Northwave Fahrenheit Gore Tex GTX Road Cycling Boots and want to know if the shoes can be used in summer riding in temperature between 80 and 90 degrees?

Or any suggestions for a year around cycling shoe for high and low temperature ranges with clips?

Thank you!

Napoleon

I’ve never used/worn those shoes, and had to look them up. But…no reason why you can’t wear those shoes/boots in a tri race. But just keep in mind that as you have to ‘put them on’ in T1, and then ‘take them off’ in T2…they look a bit more cumbersome/involved than other shoes, and consequently will likely add precious seconds to both transition times.

Agreed - they don’t look very practical for a triathlon. Maybe you meant to post this in a different forum. What’s your budget?
