Banned from P&R?
 

I had a post deleted from a COVID forum; received a PM about it. Now I'm not allowed to post on P&R & no PM about it. I haven't been abusive...while many partisan & derisive posts are allowed?

I asked for permission to post in the P-R forum a while back after a thread I was in got moved there. Never got a message back from admin or permission either......meh.....

Well I hadn't applied to join the P&R forum, I didn't realize that was a requirement. Also, I hadn't realized the separate COVID forum was supposed to be non-political...& they closed that COVID-hoax thread a bit later anyway so fair enough I guess. OTOH I don't know why it would take weeks for another member to get approved.

While I don't approve anyone for P&R, I'll find out what's taking so long in some cases. Since I don't take part in that process, it's possible that if you're rejected, you are simply not notified (take that with a grain of salt).

How long ago was this? Can you send me a copy of the request please? I always reply to people who request. It could have been that it got lost in all my messages.

Yes, we went over your posting record. If your posting record and infraction record was approved, you are able to post in P and R.

Keep in mind, if any of you had any infractions within the past couple of months, you won't be allowed in. We'd like you to have a clean record for at least a few months.

I think it was back in April maybe? I don't recall exactly, might have been sooner. Its not a big deal. I probably had the message in my sent box but about a week ago I emptied out all my PM's so I have 0 there.

it's a tab on your profile if you have had any. You haven't, and you would know if you had. I got a warning once and it still annoys me :)

Like when I flippantly said 'GB bars were made by Gary Burgess of M*A*S*H' or something like that and got a warning... it was reversed, but it still shows up and chafes me.

That's because you mixed up Gary Burghoff (the actor from MASH) and Gerry Burgess, whoever that is.
