This is a one-year only color, 1973, called Sunset Orange.
I turned mine into a 27 lb. sweet-riding Cadillac...a very nice bike!

Funny, I thought the Super Sports had 3-piece cranks by 1973. A beautiful bike! I did a singlespeed conversion on the last Super Sport I had--respaced the rear axle, redished the wheel, and replaced the chainring on the one-piece crank. The high flange hubs look great with the extremely low profile rims.

I do not need this bike.

I do not need this bike.

I do not need this bike.

If I keep telling myself that, it'll be true.

Then again, I need a bike that I can use that Crane derailleur on...

No!!! Argh!!!

That's a gorgeous bike, I bet it does ride like a Cadillac. I am all about N-1 these days, and it's too small for me to be its rider. But, that orange is stunning...what a fine Sat morning farmer's market grocery getter.

Yeah, that Orange looks Kool.

If it were as close as VA/Metro DC I'd drive down and get it. Just too far, and with a '65 and '73 in the barn too much to shell for shipping.
