What your favorite biking app?
Whats your favorite app to use for biking? I like this app called Loops because it can generate routes for you for any distance. Check it out here

I like Strava.
|
The after-ride pub app.
Hopefully, this app will be back up and running soon. Stay Safe. Part of the environmentally responsible 'clear airwaves' movement. |
My only cycling app is Strava.

Ridewithgps It generates course files with custom cue sheet entries, like a water icon with "Safeway on left." For planning it lets you choose the map source. You can use satellite views to look at traffic/tree cover. You can use the Open Street Map cycle map including points of interest like water sources/bike shops and bicycle routes. You can use Google Street View to look at road quality. It can trace an imported .gpx or .fit recording to generate a route. It can join segments into a long ride, or split routes into short ones to work around GPS computer bugs. Golden Cheetah Keeps the original data on your computer. It lets you edit anomalies so they don't impact your stats. It gives you your choice of metrics for performance management. It lets you track performance over time; e.g. best 10 minute power by week with corresponding average heart rate. I like this app called Loops because it can generate routes for you for any distance Terrain, road quality, and traffic are too variable to let an app generate routes for recreational riding. |
Strava is the one I use.
|
i would say RidewithGPS, but I am computer spoiled, so apps, leave a lot to be desired.

Trebel music

Depends on situation. RideWthGPS, Komootto preload routes. For post-ride stats, rubiTrack Pro.
