Nice - looks like a $500 bike to me
nice bike for a vintage enthusiast who wants a modernish go-fast bike for cheap as well for occasional rides |
thanks for the input

That's a cool-looking bike (and I love monostay rear triangles and 10 speed centaur), but it's kind of in a hard spot for value where it's not really old enough to get the vintage folks hot and bothered and people looking for a go-fast aluminum or carbon bike are going to want something newer. I bet it goes like a rocket though.

yeah its pretty fast . and yeah i wish this forum had an appraisal subforum for modern bikes
|
any input from anyone else?

Post it for $800 and see who bites.

It'd be great for a group set upgrade for the frame. None the less, any part on here holds value.

Also, take in consideration that bikes are at an all time high right now at least in the states. My Trek store is back ordered up to 2022 so I always have guests buying whatever has two wheels. I think 800 would be a great asking price.

I paid $750 for mine, maybe 7 years ago. Has dura-ace and ultegra (9 speed) components though. I don't expect it went down in value.
