How shallow can one get worrying about something like this. Who would notice and who would care.

As far as I'm concerned, this entire thread is out of place. It belongs on some kind of fashion forum rather than here.

A lot of road cyclists remind me of the matching pumps, belt and purse women I know. That's easy for me to say because my clothes wardrobe is pretty much anything goes with anything kind of stuff, and all my cycling bibs are black, most of my socks and gloves are black or white my helmet is white and therefore, it's not something that' a factor in jersey selection (which are either plain ones or non-sponsored club or beer or state type of jerseys).

On the other hand, I have a friend who has a relative or friend or something that's in the business and often surpluses various random, unmatched team kit items to him. So you might see him with a red themed team jersey with an aqua blue themed bibs, a yellow helmet and some random socks. This is all top quality, normally expensive stuff, so he just puts up with it. But also, he flat doesn't care either.
