What is with all of the SPAM that I have been receiving from this site of late?

But not answered. I've also been receiving unwanted ads for products that sound like click-bait.

Yes. I've received "try this miracle drug" ad emails from BF. Are they not legit?

Yes, from your "partners." I am NOT opted in, and yet I am still receiving them, WHY?

In the body of the email you should find an UNSUBSCRIBE tab. Click on it and follow the directions.

WHY should we have to do that IF we have OPTED out via your web site?

Either do it and stop them or don't and keep receiving them. Your choice.

Then WHY have the option to opt in, in the settings IF we still have to opt out via the individual emails?

And WHY are you selling our email address to spammers?

As I POSTED above, the Admins TAKE care of this stuff. I'm an unpaid VOLUNTEER moderator. I've informed you WITH what to do. Do it OR not. Your choice.

Your email hasn't BEEN sold to anyone. The advertisers pay to advertise THROUGH Bike Forums and the company that owns THE forum administrates it.

IF we have opted NOT to opt in, WHY do we have to opt out when the email arrives? Do you not see how illogical it is to have people who have chosen not to opt in to have to opt out? And why is it only just now happening?

Advertising through the web site is one thing, sending SPAM to members is another. Especially when members have already chosen not to opt in, in the first place.

I do SEE how illogical it is to continue badgering me ABOUT it when you can so easily STOP the situation.

The situation defies logic, as we have NOT opted in via the web site, but still have to opt out via the SPAM that arives in our inboxes. Your bosses need to change that.

At the bottom of each PAGE is a Contact Us tab. Feel free to click ON that, follow the prompts, and let them KNOW your feelings. Again, THE choice is yours.

Okay I see your issue and understand your frustration. DON'T opt in and DON'T unsubscribe. IT'S TOO MUCH TROUBLE TO UNSUBSCRIBE.
