Lachlan Morton's Badlands 2020 win

I'm looking at his time -- 43h 50m, with only ~20m stopped time -- and I'm wondering, how?? I mean, nearly two days of riding, how does he eat? How does he drink and refill? Doesn't he need to use the loo?

Regardless, that's one amazing feat. Arguably more so than Sofiane Sehili's sleep-deprived accomplishments, I think.

Haha turns out those moving times estimates were quite off: https://twitter.com/dotwatcher/statu...340676609?s=19

Staying up that long over 2 days is NBD. Pretty big accomplishment though.

When I first read about his ride, I thought "I'd probably spend more than 19 minutes just peeing over 44 hours." I was trying to work out how he could ride so efficiently. Three hours stopped is still a very good rolling time:total time ratio.

The Swiss Ultracycling Challenge was just run, and Fiona Koblinger won that with 1:40 stopped time out of 34 hours total time. An even better ratio.
