Congrats!
Now go take it out and ride it like you stole it.:thumb: |
Nice looking bike! I had no idea a threadless steerer could be threaded, good to know:thumb:
|
How's it ride?
|
Build NOT complete, since it's missing a brake (unless this will only be ridden on private road or a track)

Nice job! I really like the minimalist aesthetic, and the coaster brake is a genius idea in that context. :thumb:

Your bike build is like a supermodel without makeup. True beauty in its natural state. Congratulations

Very nice! The minimalist aesthetic is sleek, cool and tastefully done. You should be proud.

That's a really elegant build, nice job!

I'd say, well done, sir.

Very nice looking bike. Exceptionally clean lines.

It is what you wanted, you built it, now enjoy riding it! My just finished re-build, also my first, is an- early 90's steel road bike. I made some changes to accommodate my physical limitations, due to injuries and age. I had it powder coated. It is once again my favorite bike to ride. I have posted pictures of it a lot, but I am going to post just this one, one new bike re-builder to another.

powder coat
I live in south-coastal Delaware. I had mine coated by a fellow in Lincoln DE, about 30 miles north of where I live. I could have had a single stage coating with powder he already had for $100. I was going to do that but I kept coming back to the color it is, Illusion Rootbeer. It is a two stage coating and the powder was special order, so the price was $180. I could have had a two stage with powder on hand for $150. He did an awesome job. Where do you reside?

Nice!
beautiful build. The first ride is always so exciting!
