Secure Bike Parking
At my work, they have a locking cage, with racks to lock bikes inside. Across town, they've taken this to the nth degree:

Translation: Someone had a vault they weren't using!

That is pretty damn cool!
|
And yet I think I still see one over on the right side using a U-Lock? :innocent:
Here's what I get to use at my job....kinda the opposite extreme. :( http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r...G_0046A580.jpg |
That u-lock is to prevent the bike rack from getting stolen. It's locked to the next best thing to an immovable object, a recumbent.

It is not clear that chaining a bike in a room in the basement is more secure than outside in a well trafficed area.
