For what it's worth, the latest generation of sram guides is.. off. Had them brand new on my stump jumper, warranties out and they still did not work well. Swapped to Shimano XT and they work...

Well, here's a kicker. The Vgt on 6 speed rear freewheel synced up well enough that the indexing is usable! Not perfect mind, but certainly close enough that I'm not in a rush to swap in the 7 speed...

ISO stem that angles up or a long stem for motobacon. Frame size is small on me and I need to fix the reach. Have a set of drilled weinman levers that need some loving to trade if wanted.

Most certainly. I'm rather unhappy that I hadn't kept more of the parts. The Peugeot especially had at least a headset and cranks that would have made someone happy. Live and learn.
