Does anyone know what type of brake pads the 2017 crosstrail takes? I have the TRP "FSC" brakeset and I need some new ones. The front and rear ones are different and not interchangeable.

I bought the CST Critters 29x2.1 and can confirm there is no problem! They are a bit tall but clear the rear kickstand mount by about 5mm. Width wise there is not a problem.
