By all means go for a triple if you can benefit from it. I love the Campagnolo Racing Triple cranks and derailleurs, and use them on my touring bike (I keep one in Seattle and another in France.)

The B-17 does not fit me, but the Professional does. I need something a smidge narrower than the 17. The Idéale saddle models 39, 80, and 90 also fit me well. I ride with close to 45º lean.
