Biking, IMHO, is one of the best ways to build up your legs. Just make sure your bike fits correctly. A bad fit on a bike could lead to more knee injuries/issues down the road.

Just curious as a guy stuck out here in flyover land, what is GMR? I checked out the map on Strava, and I'd say it looks neat. Keep in mind the biggest hills I find out here have about 250ft...
