I had a Giro Synth and changed to a Kask Protone....

I had a Giro Synth and changed to a Kask Protone. I used the same pair of glasses in both and both held the glasses about the same. The grippers in the Synth didn't make a difference.

No problem. By the way, I didn't use a vacuum on the Shimano shoes, I just tightened the shoe and let it mold to my foot as it cooled. Pretty simple.

I've used Lake shoes also and they seem well...

Same as timmbo, I found the Drakon is a great mid-point between the Lite 209 and the Dynamic. I've been on it for two years now and it still feels great.
