Ideally you could find a Gran Sport or a Competition with butted Reynolds 531 steel frames/fork.

2 pairs of my favorites

Bought two pairs of De Marchi Pro Bib Shorts for about $40 each from nashbar in 2016.
They have held up very well, have a great chamois up to about 30 miles ( thin, but dense foam).
