I've had two custom bikes built for me - build quality for each was superb. One carbon and 1 Ti. Both were great riding bikes that fit well, but, both were stiffer than this old guy wanted.

Specialized Air lock tubes work for me.

I use Specialized Air Lock tubes in Albuquerque where the goat head stickers are a real menace. Doesn't always prevent a flat, but, I can usually re-air it up with a CO2 cartridge and I'm good to...

The Bosque trail is very quiet during the week - especially - South of Central. Very few people either way. It is busier on the weekends. A great place to ride. I try to ride there M-F.
