A XD driver is a special hub body to accept SRAMs wide range 10-42 cassettes, which is only available in 11 speed so it doesn't do you much good.

+1 My gravel bike came with a Ultegra 46/36 crank and for only about $10 I replaced the 36 chainring with a 34. Great combo. I'm a relatively fit cyclist and never spin out the 46/11 gear.
