White Mountain, California

The climb from Big Pine (3988í) to White Mountain Peak (14,252í) might be the most vertical in the US.

I did it on a hard tail in 2004, but didnít quite make the summit (didnít bring enough food)....

Typically rim brakes have an "on/off" feeling while disk brakes have varying levels of pressure feedback due to their ability to modulate better.

I admit it. I wanted a race bike for well groomed gravel, a Cervelo S5 with 40 mm tires or a Pinnarello Dogma F10 with knobbies...

A 37mm tire is the exact perfect size. Sorry, your tire choice is 1mm too narrow and you will suffer as a result.
