My Schwinn Voyageur II was produced with Araya rims but I've had Rigida Super Champion on there since the late 70's, early 80's. The Mathauser pads I installed on the bike really tore up Araya rims.

Here's my Voyageur II, purchased new with lawn mowing funds in 1976. Upgraded to finned Mathauser pads, which were tough on the Araya rims, so I changed them to Super Champion Competition.
