Bolt on skewers

I tried to get the nut off the axels and couldn't get them to budge! I want them tight of course but I've been reading that people are stripping the nut.

You guys think this spacer idea is worth a try?...

You guys think this spacer idea is worth a try? 1-1/8 tube left over from another fork. Fits snug and I'll cut it down some more to get a nice lock. I'll use two locking nuts above and below.

threaded fork, spacers vs cutting

I have spare parts I can use and sadly we don't have a co-op. Will the chrome factor be an issue when I back off the nut to clean the threads?

threaded fork, spacers vs cutting

I thought about getting some lock nuts together and use as a guide to cut the tube. I figured once I back off the nut it will also fix the threads.

threaded fork, spacers vs cutting

Does this look like too much leftover for spacers? I dread cutting the threaded fork but it's possible.

Stretched Cruiser Folks

Do you guys ride long distances? How do you carry your stuff? Seems like racks aren't a "thing" on these low lows.

Bmx bar rust

I picked up a bmx bar from a guy locally, the bar clamp area is pretty rusted. Can I sand/grind on it or will that thin the metal too much?

Creative Fix for Fenders
