It's really not bad... I didn't even notice until I read it here on BF:rolleyes: Try it out, If it's to loud, grab a BMX freewheel. They are cheap.

Just get a stem with a short quill or cut it down so...

Yes, it real easy. I hacked a cheapo stem once to practice. My cut was all sorts of screw up... and I mean bad! It still worked great. It's just the thread thing you gotta look out for.
