We'll be done riding around 10am. The air temp will be 100F(in the shade), but 3ft above the pavement it'll be over 110F.

I would stop looking at bikes on CL, and go to a shop and figure out what fits.

Masks are required, but there's no penalty for citizens refusing to comply. Luckily my employer allows me to refuse service to anyone not wearing a mask

Highly unlikely. High-end carbon fiber framesets are counterfeited because of the insane markup that's possible. It's not cost-effective to do that on a crankset that might sell for $150.
