Clank problem solved

2016 Crosstrail, purchased 2/2017 new
Solved the clank problem. Surly FX0026 fork. Don't miss the clank or the 3 LBS.
Total 12.78 kg, 28.2 lb, paraffin chain, rides smooth and fast.

Crosstrail Clank

Here's a sound bite of the clank. It's less than a minute, 3 trips over the driveway to street bump. It sounds different thru the Apogee than when riding. Still can hear the metal sound. The...

Thanks Travelbikeman. No video, but I'll try to make one when I return (mid. July). I've locked the fork now and the clank is a lot less.
Tolerable now.

Clanky fork

I've been reading the posts for some time and want to thank everyone for sharing their expertise. Purchased a 2016 Crosstrail new abt. 2 month ago. A joy to ride that's for sure.
