Honestly never noticed, but i haven't been on the fx since March. Before then in the 500 miles I put on it and I never noticed, and the extra 1100 my cousin did and never said a word to me.

If you can duplicate it on the stand you've narrowed down your possible issues between the crank, chain, and rear hub. Maybe a defective bb or something along those lines. I'm still learning my way...
