Here we go again. :rolleyes:

Fixed gear bikes are not single speed bikes. Single speed bikes have freewheels. Fixed gear bikes do not. It's that simple. They are two different things.

Neither a single speed bike nor a fixed gear bike have gears. Both have sprockets.

Sprockets are connected by chains. Gears mesh directly without chains linking them.
