spoke gauge or calipers. 2mm=14g, 1.8mm=15g the two most common. I doubt you could read an 0.2mm difference off of a round spoke with your ruler.

You'll like the DA hubs. I swapped out my 600s for DA on my '86 Centurion. You'll need to change the rear DT shifter, too, if you plan on running 7s and staying indexed.
