BikeFlight will take it without a case, is using Fedex, but is only charging $37.

Nicely done! I've biked ~10,000 miles w/ my current ortliebs (on my tubes racks, love 'em), and the rattling is beginning to bother me. Might do something about it in another couple years.

I also rode Banff to Whitefish on a rigid 29er, 2.2" on the back and 2.4" on the front. It was fine, though some others had cushier rides (one guy was on a fatbike).

It depends. Bluetooth sensors are paired to specific apps, like Cyclometer, so I'd expect iOS to have a way wake up the app associated with an active sensor, kind of like how unix deals with ports....
