My (limited) understanding is that most cycle helmets are designed to reduce head injuries for children if they fall over i.e. not much protection if you're an adult and hit the ground when cycling...

Was an occasional cyclist, my previous monthly bicycle mileage as now probably increased x4 due to coronavirus travel restrictions. Still, at least it isn't raining.
