Congrats on the bike. The carbon fork will dampen some road vibrations.
I've test ridden a bunch of new bikes with carbon, and do like it.
But to me, it isn't a night & day difference.

it sports a slight upgrade in components, and the carbon fork.
I owned one for a day. It was fairly comfortable. :thumb:

The Trek has slightly better derailleurs, with Acera rear, and Altus front.
