The '89 Ironman master's had them and stem too. They replaced the Nitto ones.

FWIW, they sell hard cases for wheels.

Check out these deals. I missed the groupset. Just as well as I intend to put dura Ace 7700 9 speed on my '89 Ironman. But I would have been happy with the ultegra road bike components for a while....
