Just to update my sub $50 Dealextreme 2 mode Aurora P7 flashlight is a little over 1 year old. It has about 50 hours of use and I've recharged the battery maybe 70 times. Still works perfectly.

FWIW my 500W Ampedbike kit hits a 1300 watt peak on a daily basis and I often hold it at 1100 watts for a couple of minutes during hill climbs....
