That's the consensus really, though talking with a friend who's a bike mechanic and vintage collector, etc he said, yes you'll feel a difference but it won't be a ton, it will be noticable though...

I was actually thinking about trying out dipping a few in liquid electrical tape,... basically you can find it at any hardware store, it's a rubberized coating.

keep in mind that some bags maybe "rated" for 0 when in reality when it hits 0 you're already cold!
