Hi C&V

Clearing out some old chainrings here and found one 54t to be larger than 151bcd. Promptly paid Sheldon a visit and he states no BCD higher than 151, which is the old pre-67 Campy standard....

hiya

got a 55T Campagnolo ring here

measured the BCD and to my surprise its over 151. looks to be about 160BCD. c-t-c is about 94mm.

anyone help? sheldon doesn't go over 151 :(

No, I mean, similarly to finding a hole in an inner tube, pump it up and immerse it in water, I could put some water around the welds, then plug the holes, and see if bubbles come up.

Yep it wasnt the bearings. I realized this once I removed the forks and could recreate the noise. LBS said the noise was normal, just flex.

OK, no joy. Even though there is about a mil of play between the bearings and the HT, when the headset is fully assembled, there is no play at all like you might expect from a loose headset.
