Here's a fun little thread... How much do your folders weigh? My current build weighs in at just 22.8lb as a single speed with a steel frameset.

the BB is brand new, also the hubs were rebuilt....

the BB is brand new, also the hubs were rebuilt. I have yet to do anything with the headset as its fine, although I do plan on replacing/rebuilding them at some point soon.

I shaved nearly 8lb off the bike. the RD, cassette, and BB alone made about 2.5lb!!! The bike is now sitting pretty at 26.09lb, I have to install the new Alivio brakes I bought, and source a crankset.

hopefully the freewheel and bb come in by friday. I never realized how bad the brakes are on cheap bikes, simply changing the levers made a world of a difference.
