Haha, you're probably right, it might appear that way. I ride with many people who have $8,000+ bikes, so my 'lowly' $3,000 bike, is near the bottom end. Additionally, when I go the triathlons and...

What's the most you've climbed in one ride?

I had this goal by the end of the summer to climb at least 10,000 feet during one ride, but it was hard to find that many hills. So I decided to do it over a 100 miles...that would be 100 feet per...

My tail light is the Cygolight Hotshot Pro, which is about 200 lumens. It probably doesn't matter what kind of light you use, so long as it's reliable, which most are. I also suggest always having...

I use the Pool Tool chain cleaner with dish soap and that gets the chain and gear system super clean. Then I use a wax lube, which works super well because it doesn't collect small particles.

With that many lights, it sounds like you're a little timid about riding, which is okay. You should have a good time and try to follow what the person in front of you is doing. Trying to pedal at a...

I'm not sure why having an even number of teeth as opposed to an odd number would matter. I understand that more teeth is generally easier. But having a cog with 11-13-15-17-etc. shouldn't really...

I live in Phoenix and people are generally pretty friendly here. My neighborhood has a 2.5 mile loop that has a generous sized sidewalk and bike lanes, so there are many people outside walking,...

A road bike is great if you only want to ride on paved surfaces (cement, asphalt). However, if you want to ride on some dirt trails as well, then I would recommend a gravel bike. The best option...

Are Assioma Duo power pedals that great?

I currently have a Pioneer crank power meter (only on the drive side). However, I've found that it reads very high, about 20-30 watts higher than other power meters, and I have connectivity issues...

So I finally rode Guardsman Pass from the Midway side, and it was tough. It's about 4000 ft of climbing in a little less than 9 miles. I was happy to hold about 250 watts (which is good for me),...
