I've a crank PM on one bike and PM pedals on the other. If I had a do-over I'd go with pedal PMs on both.
The portability of the pedals is very convenient.

It appears that the fork matches the frame paint, so it’s likely original.
The wheels appear to match....

That cap must not be tight. Tightening it with a tool will cause BB bearings wear!
That weak plastic cap does not retain the crank arm, it is there to preload...
